About Us
RiverTree Community Church held it's first service on September 27, 1998, in the auditorium of Grandville High School. We didn't know who would come, but we were confident that God was calling us to start a different kind of church. That first Sunday, God brought hundreds of people and began to form the community that we have now. In the summer of 2000 we temporarily moved to Calvin Christian Middle School because the high school was under repair. Then, during the summer of 2001, we moved to the HomeSchool Building in Wyoming. This move allowed us to have our offices and our place of worship at the same location. In April of 2005, we celebrated a move into our own building located at 1951 64th Street SW in Byron Township (between Byron Center Road and Clyde Park just South of the M6). Contact the office for current worship times.
But more important than moving, our history has been marked by the way in which God has continually changed peoples' lives. Through every transition God has been at work to help people become thriving RiverTrees. To say the least, it has been a wonderful adventure - one that we would love to have you join.
